The technical direction process in commercial theatre varies greatly from the regional process. A panel of commercial experts from Broadway and Commercial tours will discuss how the process unfolds, what positions are involved, and the time frame the show takes on. Stepping through an actual production with the various stake holders will give the attendees an opportunity to see the process unfold and better understand the complexities of communication that are required for a commercial production.
