Thank you for your interest in submitting a workshop proposal for the upcoming 2021 California Science Education Conference. Our Annual Conference attracts nearly 2,000 science educators every year.
We are currently seeking workshops that address a variety of learning needs of our community, which varies by hybrid and virtual learning, by grade band, role in implementation (including classroom teachers, district-level coaches or TOSAs, informal science educators, preservice teachers, and higher-ed faculty) and level of implementation.
There will be three different proposal options for you to choose from:
Due to the uncertainty of the year that lies ahead, we ask that you submit a proposal for a workshop that could function as both a virtual and in-person workshop. We are preparing to take either direction with the 2021 conference. We appreciate your flexibility!
The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, March 26, 2021.
Note: Once you have submitted your final proposal, you will NOT have the option to edit your submission. Should you need time before submitting your final proposal, you will have the option to Save and Edit your content. You will receive a confirmation email with your login and passcode details for the "Proposal Service Center" where you will have access to edit content and presenter information prior to submitting your final proposal.
California Science Education Conference proposal review process is completed blind and by a peer group of educators. Please see the Proposal Scoring Rubric for additional details.
