Proposal Submission

Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the ASCD 2020 Conference on Teaching Excellence to be held in Denver, Colorado! We hope that you join us as we explore this year’s theme: Classroom. Community. Connection.

The overall concept is centered on supporting teachers to:

  • Build trusting connections with students/family,
  • Providing learning supports for students to engage with the curriculum,
  • Allowing students autonomy to develop voice and take charge of their learning,

Additionally, we are interested in sessions on:

  • Adopting trauma-informed practices.
  • Developing cultural competency and understanding implicit bias.
  • Recognizing compassion fatigue and burnout in themselves, and the importance of self-care.

Breakout sessions at this conference will be 60-minutes in duration.
