Alejandro N. Mayorkas as Our AC21 Keynote Speaker

Alejandro N. Mayorkas, the first immigrant to head the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has accepted our invitation to deliver the keynote address at the conference, Thursday, June 10, 2021. Secretary Mayorkas's vision and leadership have provided inspiration not only to the immigrant communities that have benefited from his leadership, but also to the AILA members who advocate on their behalf. He is the ideal person as we gather virtually this summer to continue the fight to tilt the scales of the immigration system back in favor of the side championing fairness, moral integrity, and respect for the humanitarian ideals undergirding our rule of law.
